NFL Legend Vince Young Goes Viral in Houston Bar Fight

Ex-NFL Quarterback Vince Young Engages in Altercation at Houston Bar

Vince Young, a former NFL quarterback and UT alum, was involved in a bar fight in Houston in early February. The incident was captured on video and quickly went viral. According to the video, Young was seen arguing with a group of people at Tokyo Joe’s before things escalated when more individuals approached and got in his face.

When someone threw a drink, the situation intensified and led to a scuffle. In the video, Young is punched by one of the men involved in the fight and falls to the ground briefly before getting back up. The exact reason for the scuffle remains unclear, but the Houston Police Department reported the incident on Feb. 4 around 10 p.m. Staff members from the bar were said to have been involved in the fight and called 911 to report the altercation.

Despite this unfortunate incident, Young’s legacy as a talented athlete remains intact. He was a standout football player at UT from 2002 to 2004 and one of the school’s most celebrated former athletes. In 2005, he was the runner-up for the Heisman Trophy and played six seasons in the NFL before retiring in 2011.
