Montana Science Olympiad State Tournament: 80 Teams Gather for Largest STEM Competition in the State

The Science Olympiad starts at MSU on Friday

Nearly 900 middle and high school students from 80 teams across the state will gather at Montana State University for the Montana Science Olympiad State Tournament. This tournament is considered one of the largest STEM competitions in Montana, bringing together students from cities like Choteau, Conrad, Corvallis, Darby, Ennis, Fromberg, Gallatin Gateway, Hardin, Harrison, Libby, Livingston, Manhattan, Noxon, Roundup, Shepherd, Sidney and Thompson Falls.

The students will participate in various events and challenges that test their knowledge and abilities in different scientific disciplines. The winners of the state tournament will have the opportunity to compete at the national level. This year’s national tournament will take place at Michigan State University this spring. It is a great opportunity for students to showcase their talents and represent their schools and communities on a larger stage.
