Marvel has announced a new shooting game called “Marvel Rivals,” which will feature a wide range of heroes and villains from the Marvel universe. The game is a team-based battle royale where two teams of six members fight each other on the battlefield for control.

The story of “Marvel Rivals” was created by the NetEase writing team and revolves around the clash between Doctor Doom and his future counterpart in the year 2099, causing universes to collide in the Time Stream Tangle. Superheroes and supervillains from multiple realities must come together to fight against both Dooms before one can dominate all realities.

Developed by NetEase Game, the game will be free to play and initially feature 18 characters, including popular heroes like Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Hulk, and villains like Loki and Magneto. NetEase has promised continuous updates to the game, adding new heroes, arenas, and content.

In a unique twist for the genre, “Marvel Rivals” will allow players to combine the powers of two heroes to unleash a more powerful attack. The game is set to provide an immersive gaming experience with its diverse characters and gameplay mechanics.
