Empower Your Business with Sustainability: Discover State-Level Recognition at Steamboat Springs Workshop

‘Free Lunch Workshop on Business Leadership for Climate Change on Wednesday’

The Steamboat Springs Chamber and nonprofit Yampa Valley Sustainability Council have invited business and organizational representatives to join them for a “Business Leadership for Climate” free workshop from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the Routt County Health and Human Services Community Room (135 Sixth St.) in downtown Steamboat Springs.

This workshop is part of a series outlining the programs of the Colorado Green Business Network of the Yampa Valley, which is part of the larger Colorado Green Business Network. The focus of the workshop will be on the benefits of state-level recognition for businesses.

During this event, participants will learn how to navigate the recognition application process and discover strategies to accumulate points towards certification. By becoming certified, businesses can set themselves apart as leaders in sustainability and cater to the growing consumer demand for eco-conscious products and services.

Lunch will be provided at the workshop, courtesy of Hypnotic Chicken with energy bars from Bar-U-Eat. This event is open to the public, but registration is required at YVSC.org/yvsc-events.

The Colorado Green Business Network of the Yampa Valley was launched in the summer of 2022 as a free, technical assistance, and environmental recognition program aimed at helping businesses become leaders in sustainability and attract eco-conscious consumers. This workshop presents a great opportunity for businesses to learn more about how they can become leaders in sustainability and attract eco-conscious consumers.
