Boston Brigade Takes the Field in Inaugural Flag Football Season

New Flag Football Team to Debut in Quincy this Spring

Boston Brigade, a professional flag football team in the AFFL (American Flag Football League), is set to make its debut in Quincy for its inaugural season. The team will play its home games at Veteran’s Memorial Stadium and is one of the first four professional flag football teams ever established.

Former BSU quarterback James Cahoon made an impression on NFL scouts during Holy Cross Pro Day on March 21, 2024. Cahoon showcased his skills and athleticism, earning attention from professional football teams.

The Boston Brigade will kick off its eight-game season with a double-header against the Nashville Nighthawks and Las Vegas Lucky Sevens on May 11 at 1 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets for these games are available on the team’s website. The team’s championship game is set for June 22 in Dallas, with another home double-header scheduled for June 1 against the Dallas Ocelots and Las Vegas at 1 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

The addition of flag football to the 2028 Olympics adds excitement to the Boston Brigade’s debut season as they believe that it is the perfect timing to be a part of Boston’s rich sports history.
