Amwins Program Underwriters debuts new insurance for home health care workers

Amwins Underwriting’s Program Underwriters (APU) recently launched a new Home Health Care HNOA program. This specialized program is designed to provide hired and non-owned auto liability coverage for home health care operations. With more seniors choosing to age in place and receive medical care at home, the demand for home health care services has increased, and APU has created this program to address the unique challenges faced by providers when delivering essential services to patients in their homes.

Julie Reisinger, the program manager at APU, emphasized the importance of working with experts who understand the evolving healthcare industry and can provide tailored coverage. The team at Amwins is dedicated to being solutions-driven partners for their clients, ensuring long-term protection by crafting personalized coverage that meets their specific needs. With extensive experience and strong relationships with top-rated carriers, APU offers precise coverage that is available in all states except Louisiana. The program includes standalone hired and non-owned auto liability with limits up to $5 million and caters to a variety of businesses within the home health care sector, such as doctors, nurses, therapists, and caregivers. However, accounts involving client/patient/passenger transport are not eligible for this program.
